Fashion Week is in full swing in Milan, but Sagastina finds some time to tell us all about herself.
Where were you born and raised?
I grew up on an island outside of Gothenburg called Öckerö, and when I was 7, my family moved to Stenungsund. From then on, I lived in the countryside, surrounded by horses, which eventually became my biggest passion😊
What’s your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories has to be all the exciting showjumping competitions. My mom and I, along with my cousin and her mom, would travel together with our ponies to different events. The excitement, the nerves, the cozy accommodations, all the preparations, and the road trips — it was a full package, a lifestyle that I’ll always cherish. 🥰
What’s your favorite food or guilty pleasure snack?
My favorite food is definitely my mom’s lasagna! When it comes to snacks, the list could be long, but I’d say dates and dried mango are definitely at the top. ^^ (Though, let’s be honest, I’m not always that healthy… Swedish candy is the best!)
What’s your go-to activity when you’re not working?
Before horses took up most of my time, but now, with all the traveling, I love going for runs to explore the city. I also enjoy bringing a book or my computer to study at cute cafes — it’s an everyday go-to activity for me. 😊
Do you have a favorite quote or mantra you live by?
I tend to have different quotes for different moments in life, but lately, my favorite has been: “What you’re not changing, you’re choosing.” A side note: I’m currently studying coaching, and I think that’s why I’ve been feeling extra wise lately! 😉 😅
What’s one dream you have outside of modeling?
One dream I have outside of modeling is to own my own company (I won’t spoil any details just yet 😉) and to be able to travel whenever I want. My absolute nightmare would be a nine-to-five office job.^^
If you could visit any place in the world, where would it be?
There are so many places I’d love to visit, but one of the top destinations for me would definitely be Kenya. 🥹
Thank you Sagastina!
